How we met: I was lucky enough to be introduced Daily's co-founders, Kwin Kramer & Nina Kuruvilla by Marc Hedlund. Marc is someone I have had the pleasure of working with before and I very much value his opinion of folks. When I met Kwin & Nina, I clicked with them immediately and always feel like my experiences and expertise are highly valued by them. Not to mention that when I started partnering with them, I knew Sarah Milstein was about to join as their VP, Engineering.
What stands out to me: Daily is extremely transparent about their compensation philosophy and it's listed on every job posting. Daily also requires every candidate to do a take home exercise and pays them for it.
About their team: Daily is just under 100 employees who are distributed around the globe (they have been remote long before the pandemic). Because of this distribution they are extremely documentation focused. If you love writing, this could be the place for you. They also closed a Series B for $40 million at the end of 2021.
